just wondering how much modding is required to do this with a ralco rz shifter
also, can everything required be accessed from within/inside the car or do you need to get under it at any point?
thanks

thanks for the link, it was very helpfull
i don't have the Ralco shifter yet but i removed the console and had a hard look at what i'm going to be dealing with... it seems pretty straight forward...
my question remains however if any mods will be required to my car or the shifter for the install...
and also, what's a j-body? (yes n00b)
thanks again

You may have to trim a little off one side of the center console in order to get it all the way into reverse. Both of my B&M's didn't come with the side-to-side pivot pin so I am waiting for B&M to send them to me before i throw one in my DD and my cavalier.
J-body is the GM platform in which it built sunfires, cavaliers, sunbird's, J2000, Cadalliac Cimmeron.
Another example F-body = firebirds, camaro's, trans-am's
w-body - Lumina, grand-prix, etc.
understand?
