It looks nice, but they should have done the 550A, not the 550 like Dean
owned. The Carrera Pan American and Lemans cars are not the same. Big mistake for Hiro unless they do both bodies.

It's only a curbside model, and the price will still be very high.
A full detail model might have been interesting.

Just curious, and please don't take offense, but are y'all American or from elsewhere in this wide world? Because it seems to me that y'all may just not get it.

Not sure I get your point. :shakehead
However the answer is no, I'm not American, I'm European! :p:

I'm thinking Will meant was, how James Dean is an American icon to us. And this is a well deserved kit for him.
And to Jano, you are right. A full detailed kit would be better. But a pretty accurate body is a good start, as experienced modelers can steal/modify parts from one of the Fujimi Enthusiast kits.

"Little Bastard" just seems wrong to me. I always thought the car was named "Li'l Bastard."
If they got it wrong, that's a pretty serious error, since that "provenance" is the main reason for issuing that particular model.

But as well you can take the Jimmy Flinstone body kit and mix it with one of the Fujimi 356 Enthusiast kits, the result will be about the same for 1/4 of the money.

Seems like memory did fail. All the on-line evidence I can find confirms "Little Bastard."

The JF one isn't at all the 550 like James Dean has. It would take alot of work to modify it.
