Are those wheels available anywhere seperately? Or only with the SMS set?

Thanks

from what ive heard, only with the kit...but you can always contact them and ask ;)

The lack of affordable correct wheels really hits a nerve to many of us...

Indeed. I really don't want to buy 3 of those $100 kits just for the wheels. But good idea. I'll contact them. Maybe they can make a deal, or realise some people JUST WANT THE WHEELS!:)

I've already asked for separate wheels and some resin or plastic repops. I don't think any of those options are going to be available any time soon, if at all. Good luck though and tell us what you find.

I already tried to get them to offer wheels seperately, was told that wouldnt happen but by all means try.

The problem with the SMS wheel set is there are too many turned parts to produce just turned rims. The cost per wheel set would be $75 and I'm sure nobody wants to pay that. Then you may say how about resin? The utterly poor design by Revell makes it tough to do in resin as well. You can't just use the SMS wheels as a master and cast them in resin it wouldn't work without some re-design. I guess all those factors are enough reason for Matthew to not do them. But I agree with all of you in that SMS should find a way to do the Rims in resin. But you would be stuck with the crappy brake disc and caliper from the Revell kit.

brakes are fixable, ive seen some on other cars what would work really well, but the closet wheels would be something like the Modenas...
