Hey there. I've been here for a couple months, but this is my first thread. First, I would like to say that Everyone's work here is absolutely amazing. I've learned a ton already from you guys and the guys from the modeling section.
Alright, enough of that. Here are some of my better drawings. Hope you like them:
http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn8/hertz037/300ZX.jpg
This is a 1992 Nissan 300ZX I drew a couple years ago with my idea of a schweet body kit.
http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn8/hertz037/300ZX_D1_GT_Front.jpg
This is a more precise (and more recent) rendition of the previous body kit for the 300ZX - This time just the front end. I'll be building this in a couple months in 1/24 scale on a Tamiya 300ZX.
http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn8/hertz037/350Z.jpg
This was my first attempt at painting a couple years ago. It's a 350Z from a body kit ad I found in a Super Street magazine.
http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn8/hertz037/MKIVSupra.jpg
This is a Supra that I did shortly after the 350
http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn8/hertz037/My_CRX.jpg
This is actually my car plus some wheels it would be nice to have :naughty:. I haven't quite finished it yet. I have some extra manufacturer decals to put on the hood, and I was planning on adding some color.
And here's the reference image in my former front yard:
http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn8/hertz037/MyCRX1.jpg
PS. I have since lowered the spoiler so it isn't so friggen high (chopped and TIG-welded the mounts to about 3" high), and yes, I KNOW a wing doesn't do crap for a FF car. I just like the way it looks.
http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn8/hertz037/Roadrunner.jpg
Here's one for you muscle car guys. 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner (please correct me if I'm wrong.. That's what my reference pic said)
http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn8/hertz037/M3_Convertible.jpg
And finally, this cartoon-style tuner M3 Convertible. I'm quite proud of how this one turned out. A single 9-hour day with a pencil and some crayola markers (In high school while recovering from a surgery..)
I apologize for the picture quality if anything is hard to see. They're mostly pencil and they're the first pix I've taken on my brand new camera (wedding gift). So, let me know what you think and I hope you enjoy.

Great! some proportional inaccuracies, but you learn with time. They are so magnificently detailed and precise lines!
Bravo, my friend.

Thanks guys. I agree about the proportional inaccuracies. They've always been a problem for me, but once I started actually doing the "correct" thing and using guidelines, I started noticing an improvement :P

use a grid, its what i used for my enzo ( see my thread ) its easy, takes a little time, but its worth it for perspective practice.
