matt black or black with dull coat

im doing a matt black paint job, just wondering if it would look better in plain matt black via a tamiya spray can or a black or semi gloss from tamiya and i have a can of testors dull coat

Would the testors dull coat just be the same as matt??

Personally, I'd go with a gloss black, wetsand to get the orange peel off, then hit it with a dull coat. Testors dull coat sucks though. I'd at least go to walmart and pick up a can of krylon matt clear. It will lay down extremely well, and you'll have enough to last your life time.

However, if you are looking to do a flat black PRIMER paint job, I'd use what the real guys use.....flat black primer. easy as that.
