For awhile now the window was going up slowly, and it would tilt forward eventually coming to a stop, then i would have to tilt it back, and continue to raise up the window, but now it doesn't want to go up or down i don't mind replacing everything but what should i be looking at replacing??

The window regulator and motor. Autopartswarehouse has pretty decent prices if you dont mind waiting a week for delivery from CA, just did mine.

What type of lube did you use?

just some mulitpurpose spray lube from Canadain Tire it goes on thick but absorbed into the guides and now its like silk minus the tilting action

Does it have a silicon base?

I had the same sticking / tilting problems with my drivers side window on my 2000 Venture. Silicone based spray ($4 from Autozone) applied liberaly to the guides all around fixed the problem very well. I'm told that non-silicone based lubes won't work. I plan to reapply again if the window acts up.

Probably a WD-40 or similar. You need the one that says silicone and re-soak the s*** out of all the vertical felt guides to the point that both sides of each felt guide receive it. Also have someone operate the up/down toggle while you press and aid the window to not tilt forward. Try to push the window slightly in and out as it goes up so that you try to ensure both sides of the window receive the lube from the felt. After a few of these it s/b fine. If not spray the edges of the window. Wipe of excess, etc after you get the tilt out. Good luck.
