after leaving lunch my freind let me borrow his laser pointer for the rest of the day, but i decided to shine it in one of my friends eyes, but i didnt look to see if there was a teacher aroud ( i new i could get in trouble for it but i didnt know what else could happend ) after i did this i heard a loud scream that said, " you with the laser, come herre !"
the principal saw me with it, he gives me some BS about how its illegal to point them at peoples eyes and shit, now i have to get a parent to come to the school to pick it up, or i could just leave it there, and let my friend worry about. :finger: :finger:

the moral of the story is always look before doing some thing illegal

or just dont shine laser pointers in peoples eyes. that shit hurts. Having a laser pointer at our school results in expulsion at the worst or at least 5 days suspension. they think that it's a laser on the barrel of a gun or something. That's how my school was when I lived back in Florida also. They started making those rules shortly after the columbine shootings

I would hardly call pointing a laser pointer in someones eye illegal, even though its some dumb ass law out there.. Now if you were smoking weed I would understand the true point of looking for a teacher or worse a police officer

Illegal or not, doing something like that was just plain dumb. Your not much of a friend to want to shine a laser light in their eye.

I doubt it would be illegal, but it is fucking stupid.

That's infrared radiation moron, you can blind someone.

On a field trip last year one of the guys on the bus had a pointer and was shining it on the TV in the front of the bus,it kept reflecting into the driver's eye. He stopped the bus, walked to the back, grabbed the guy and dragged him to the front and made him sit in the stairwell the rest of the way back to the camp. After threatening to beat him up and leave him behind. The teachers said nothing and just smiled...

I learned some thing new today

what's that? that you're a complete utter MORON?

one of the jerks at my school thought he would be so kool if he brought one to school one day. he was shining the red dot on the back of someones head, and the guy turned around and caught it right in the eye. he walked over to the guy with the laser and punched him in the face, breaking his nose, and after reading your post, i hope the same thing happens to you. dumbass.

It seems to me that you posted about something stupid that you did, and then we all told you that it was stupid, what you did... Did you expect us to all say "Good job on that stupid thing you did!" or something like it?

Well,'flaming' is making baseless insults...........If you are stupid enough to shine a laser pointer into someone's eyes, then none of the insults is exactly baseless, you have in fact behaved like an an idiot.:D

shining in peoples eyes = bad
but... teachers have a lazer on their remote mouse thing at my school... so, whatever, we get zapped all teh time

however... shining lazers at a cat's feet, and watching the cat try to catch it... now that's good times...

id think if it was that bad and it would cause that much damage to some ones eyes, then they couldnt sell them in stores.

well...*most* laser pointers out there aren't powerful enough to blind a person, i can stare into them and i'm not blind yet. and hey best friends do that kinda thing, ya know purple nurples, slap sacks?? i'd rather have a laser pointer shined in my eye then those. it's not that it's immature, just people havin fun, i agree that it should be banned from school for the reason that some are powerful enough but hey, when you can take an ordinary mechanical pencil, and make it into a bb shooter with just a rubber band, i think that's worse, so what are they gonna start banning mechanical pencils from school?? they do shoot with quite a high velocity too:D

You are right. Most laser pointers are not strong enough to do permanent damage, but what kid knows the difference. FYI, the green laser pointers are more powerful.

Sort of on the same topic;

A friend of mine recently got suspended for using a knife in school. He didn't have scissors and an exercise caleld for cutting paper into squares. He said the knife was an Archer's knife, no bigger than 3.5 inches (Blade). He onyl used it to cut the paper, made is discreet as possible, but the teacher 'caught' him I guess you could say, a short while later he was suspended for 2 days.

Thoughts? I'm sort of undecided as to wether or not it's justified.

Yeah!! They should just ban everything that idiots could possibly injure themselves or other with!! :bloated:

Knives can cause damage to eyes, they still sell those. So can guns. So can cars. So can straws. Fortunately most people are smart enough not to do stupid stuff with these items.

Ever walked into a gun-store you complete and utter moron? Your actions betray a fundamental immaturity and lack of concern for the well-being of the other people in the world. To say I am personally disgusted with your actions (shining a laser pointer into a 'friends' eyes then rushing home to post on AF how proud you were FOLLOWED by accusing others of being unfair when calling you a brainless dipshit) would be an understatement. My seething contempt for your mindset towards this whole situation will take a long time to put to rest. After you have read this, turn your computer off and go have a goddamn good look in a mirror.

Okay, granted, we've all gotten our shits and giggles out of this, but things are getting far too carried away.

I, too, have learned something. Pray for the future. :o
