how is possible to tell if your heads are bad besides coolant in your oil

take them off and send them to a machine shop...

hello, a compression test of ea. cylinder.a leak down test if you have compressed air.why do u think heads could be bad??yea u can pull the heads but thats a little extreme if your still diagnosing the problem

I got a little oil leak right in the middle of motor beneath intake I can see it trickling just cant see where its coming from just wanted to know what prob could be thought it was the heads I dont have coolant in the oil and car still runs great no overheating or anything im lost at what this could be any ideas

i would see what else could be leaaking...heads can leak oil but not real common...ck intake manifold,oil switch ect GOOD LUCK

It sounds like around the oil pump drive that takes place of the distribitor,It is sealed with an O ring that dries up and is a very common problem.Most parts stores sell this O ring and is a special O ring.Make sure to lube the O ring up with grease so you don't cut it when putting the oil pump drive back in

Thats what I was told today im going to try it my sister had the same problem with her sunbird (same motor) and my dad took it to a shop and thats what it was im going to try it out tommrow thanks
