Hi all.. I am helping a friend out with his problem. The vehicle does not idle. Service engine light was on so I hooked up the scanner. Found 2 codes p0340 and p0335 cam sensor and crank sensor fault. Called the dealer and they told me that this Vehicle does not have a cam sensor. Any how My friend decided to replace the crank sensor. Same problem no idle and is reading 20 degrees advanced. what do you think the problem is? Do you think the pcm needs to be reprogrammed/flashed? Do you think the cam sensor is built into the distributor? do you think the T belt jumped? :screwy: :banghead:

Any advice would be appreciated. Aloha....

I'm having the same problem....I replaced the crank sensor and the problem continues...its throwing p0335, p0340, and p1400. The car dies while idling.
