My first real resin kit is finished, overall a very pleasant experience. Although it does only feel like half a project compared to my usual builds such as the Lotus 25, 99T and Ferrari 310B.
Apart from the transmission tunnel and suspension there was no work on the engine bay whatsoever, I even left off the etched replacement Judd engine covers as they are too nice to be permanently hidden under the resin shell so I have saved these for another project later maybe.
On the plus side I found the car went together exceptionally well and sits beautifully square on the road without any adjustments whatsoever (often an issue with Tamiya kits). As you would expect it is heavy compared to its plastic counterparts however this gives it a more quality feel and is no bad thing!
Sorry it was a bit of a jump from the last posted pics on the WIP however I managed to get a lot done in a short space of time and forgot to take pics along the way.
So enough waffling, a few finished pics here and as always there will be more on my website.

Hi Sean,
Seems like you keep spouting out models after models. I really like this classic Williams livery.

The livery and modifications look like it would have been complicated to do but in your wip, you make it look so easy. Everything about this build turned out nice and clean. Really great work here.

Really awsome job. It has a sleek shape to it for an older F1 car.

Really nice result, looks great.Fantastic work on the blue decals, were they tricky to fit?? Very clean overall and a remarkably quick build as well.

thanks as always guys, your comments are always appreciated. Steve, no the decals were a dream to fit, I did use a little Microset on them but not too much as I didnt want to risk the yellow paint being affected or indeed the decals wrinkling away.

Thanks Ste, another couple of relatively OOB builds are up next but after that I will be returning to full detail. 2 or 3 options at the moment but it will be either a Lemans car or F1.

Hi Sean,
Do you have the original cowl for the FW-13B? If you don't need it, would you consider selling it to me? Unfortunately I ruined mine trying to remove the paint. Thanks.
The FW-12 looks stunning, by the way. :)
