Headlights Stolen!

I have an 03 Max and they just popped them off and sped away. So forget about getting them back.... how much do they cost to replace? Also what would you guys recommend as the best alarm system to get?

Its Nissan policy ... to put most expensive bits in front - to be nabbed or smashed. Great revenue as theyre priced 1000% over prod /marketing costs. For us users this is madness.

Maxima was on top of theft list just b/c of this. Google it, there has been court cases and I guess theres smtg Nissan has to do (If I remember right, they have to add 'tamper proof brackets? ... even mandatory recall? Maybe I am wrong but check it out)

Seek ebay, you may find your own ... and buy em back.

A touch sensitive alarm should catch this, BUT may keep you awake at all hours of the night from animals, trash and mean kids in the neighborhood that know you have it!!!

There's a fix called data dots that Nissan has to perform...they basically just add a bracket and bolt them in better. But the thief will just cause more damage to your car then trying to get them out. Good luck!

Check ebay or maxima.org. There are guys on there selling parts all the time. Be careful with ebay, the parts are not sealed and you will find that moisture will gather on the inside of the lens.

just get some 2000-2001 maxima headlights or get after market projectors or something. when i hit a deer i had to get 2 new headlights, it was something like 800 a piece and 1300 for the pair for OEM.
