engine swap 1st gen

I have a 93 dakota 4 wheel drive with a very tired 3.9l motor (auto) i want to put a 318 motor from a 1994 full size dodge 2 wheel drive in it , what will i have to do to do this , ( i have the complete 94 truck ) is it straight forward ? thanks for your help
