Has anyone installed a towing hitch for a rodeo 2004?
I want to install one but don't know where to start.

Do you have the hitch? It should just slide up over the outside of the frame rails and bolt in with 3-4 bolts per side.

This guy wants to sell me a hitch. The one that is kinda curved and one piece. Is that the one you're talking about?
so just slide it up there and no drilling required?
That easy for rodeo 2004?

My Curt MFG hitch just bolted on with 2 bolts each side. The hardest part was the front bolt on the passenger side. Had to use a peice of thin wire wrapped around the bolt (kit came with the wire) to fish the bolt inside the frame rail and through the hole. Wasnt all that bad though.

One problem you might have on yours, I think the later years have a resonator on the exhaust near the tail pipe that tends to hit against the trailer hitch mount. Wont be any different for installing but you might have to find a way to keep the exhaust from hitting it.
Thx for the compliments. I think those are the 2nd best looking stock wheels (snowflakes being the best of course). I like my new wheels better though, makes it look much nicer...

:) Mine has a Hidden hitch, (I think), and it was just bolt up. I would suggest you get the factor wiring form a dealership, it just plug and play form a outlet in the jack storage place. This will save many headaches down the line. Andie:)
