Ranger engine specs

I am looking for a chart or some other resource giving more detailed engine specs than many websites seem to offer. Idealy this would cover several years. I am looking for the basics such as displacement, peak power (@rpm), peak torque (@rpm), but also some more obscure details. these include the connecting rod length, intake and exaust valve diam, the intake and exause valve lift, and the brake specific fuel consumption.
I am just starting out with some engine work of my own and am looking into a project to run a vehicle on carbon monoxide (who likes paying for gas). The design of the CO gas generator is dependant on the flow-rate demanded by the engine and I need the above specs to determine it.
the years i am most interrested in are 1982-1990, and the smaller engine is best, the inline-4.

Anyone got any ideas? I have been searching for a while now with no luck on my end.

If you go to the link below, follow the instructions in the first post and select your vehicle, then Repair Procedures, then Engine And Engine Overhaul, you'll find the displacement, camshaft lobe lift, rocker arm lift ratio (which presumably needs to be factored in to arrive at the valve lift figure, eh) and dimensions for the con-rods and valves. I only had a quick look at the '86 model but hopefully it will be there for the other years too. I didn't see any mention of power, torque etc. though.

This is all good stuff, but i still need power, torque, stroke, and bore. and the engine speed to go with it.

Bore and stroke can be found from the link above, and the Wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Ranger) links to some useful-looking sites, amongst which are these two pages, listing some HP and torque specs:
