tranny's clicking??

every time i press the clutch pedal and release it my tranny clicks. i dunno if it is suppose to do that but i just noticed it. is there something wrong?

it could be your tranny slipping, the syncros on the inside of it are prolly shot.

Does the sound go away when the clutch is in? If so it's most likely your bearings have gone bad. Pretty costly fix unless you do it yourself.

i dunno if it clicks in when i drive but when i'm in neutral just staying still and i pop the clutch out then in it makes the click when it is in. then the sound goes away. I don't know too much about tranny's so i don't know what the bearings are or syncros for that matter. But thanks for the help guys. i really appreciate it.
