Hi i just bought a 2001 eclipse spyder a few days ago and the check engine light is on... I have a hand held obd 11 scanner and i plugged it in to the computer and it says egr valve circuit malfunction... The dealer I bought it from said that they just replaced the EGR valve and i was told that it could possible be the ports that the EGR valve sits on could be dirty, Is that true??? Is that what the problem is or could it be something else??? Thanks for your help

01gtspyder, please take it easy on the post button... If you make multiple threads, you are able to delete them yourself before anybody else posts in them. Next time please edit the post and delete them to remove the multiple threads. Thank you...
