Welcome to AF. Please try type in complete (or somewhat complete) sentences so it's readable, it makes it much easier on us. With that being said, have you checked the the timing? If the timing checks out good, I'd pull the oil pan and check to make sure you don't have rod knock. The only reason I say that is you say the "valves" are real loud, but if you heard the valves, the car would not run for more than about 10 seconds before it would kill.
Do some routine maintainence and check the things I suggest before you drive it anywhere.
Also, it helps to put your car info in your signature so you don't have to type it out every time you post. (Year, make, model, tranny, mods, etc)

Pull the valve cover and inspect the head. Maybe you have a worn cam or something. Look for physical damage. Also check for metal in the oil.

ok guys i completed a compression test heres what i got.
1......85psi dry 90 wet :banghead:
2......25psi dry 30 wet:banghead:
3......155psi dry didnt test wet
4.......175psi dry also didnt test wet
ok ive done some reading on the internet and it gave me the idea
that its most likely ether bad valves or a bad head gasket? what do you guys think..who and i dont want to forget to say the car does run as long has i want it to. ive also checked the cam timing marks along with the timing with it running!!!! any help will be great!!!

Bad rings would cause low compression. See if you can get ahold of a leak-down tester to see what's leaking. If you open the radiator cap and see bubbles, it's most likeley a HG, if you hear air coming from the dipstick tube, it's most likely rings, if you hear air coming from the intake, it's most likely intake valves, if you hear air coming from the exhaust, it's most likely exhaust valves.

Thats a good test to perform to see whats wrong. Sounds like your in mine same position. Except you have more compression than I do. I still drive mine everyday, it has been running that way for almost 2k.

You should do a leak down test before you pull the head. It will give you a better idea of whats wrong.
