350 tranny

I just bought a 85 Cutlass Supreme with a 307. The car was a v-6 car that was converted to a v-8. I am going to be putting a 383 chevy in it and a 350 tranny. Does anyone know if i need a short or long shaft trans to fit in this car? Any help would be appriciated.
