1999 Intrepid revs up and down

I have a 1999 Intrepid 2.7L , my engine revs up and down all by itself..... it starts ok and drives ok but can't figure out what this problem is. When I come to a stop though, it will die on me, but start back up. HELP!!!

I would check the IAC and Throttle Position Sensor. The IAC usually controls idle at startup and the TPS sends signal to ECM for fuel/air mixture.
