Laser is long gone, Rover is in pieces, Talon is doing great! I'm loving my teeny little SCM61, but it would love a FMIC to round out the package. ;)

I love having a lot of resources at my disposal now that I get to relearn DSMs, and this place couldn't be ignored. Batronix EPROM burning and MAF-Ts? I'd been gone too long. Link and a FMIC are on the horizon...hopefully June.

Damn, nice dude. Actually, except for the 60-1 thats pretty much the same setup I am shooting for. When you want to let go of that supra smic and piping you should let me know! I was going to get one and weld up my own pipes this summer but I'll gladly take yours when you're ready. :)
So is that you that does the chip burning?

They were probably the smart ones that moved on and didn't fall victim to the DSM Disease. Often, this disease will cause irrational decision making, angry wives, and drained bank accounts. Mod fever is another common side effect.

LMAO. Naw, the Talon is affectionally called "The Turd" until I get a paint job. Helluva sleeper right now, though. No FMIC, no crooked pointing muffler, little dime size rust spots in a couple of places, hood pin holes with no hood pins...I've surprised a few folks.

By the way Thor, what color you looking to paint your ride?
Thor06
04-15-2008, 09:38 PM
Depends which "ride" you're talking about. :D Eventually the Talon will get repainted just like stock, but if you're referring to my sig my road bike is going to be painted flat black. I almost thought about painting it up real nice and polishing all the aluminum real good, but its always the good looking stuff that gets stolen. I just decided to paint 'er flat black and clean up the aluminum. I'll still think it looks good, but hopefully the average theif wont. ;) The project thread will get updated as soon as I have some pics to update it with.

Ha ha, no pink guys sorry. But you're damn right I am pumped about this bike. How much is gas up to now? $3.40/gallon national average? Fuck that shit, summer's not even here yet... just imagine whats going to happen in May and June. Here's the pros and cons the way I see it:
Cons - Takes longer (back home everywhere and distances over 3-5 miles down here)
Pros - Good work out, no gas cost, no insurance cost, no parking fees, much cheaper maintenance, much quicker than any bus except the expresses, WAY faster at rush hour
I dont know, I dont see any reason not ride a bike when you can.
