Welcome to AF!
Both Studio 27 and Scale Motorsport put out photoetch sets for the Tamiya XJR-9LM (http://www.hlj.com/hljlist2/?MacroType=DetAcc&searchpage=top_page&Dis=-2&from=detail&Word=xjr-9lm). But honestly the kit doesn't really need it....

Here's the S27 set

As you see, you don't get an awful big bang for your buck but the parts that are there are pretty useful (except the seat belts IMO)

Actually that's the old sheet. The new sheet is a lot nicer and a lot better than any other out there.

Speed Details has a book that covers all the wiring and plumbing details for the car for $10. Sorry don't have the website handy. S&S specialties used to have a detail set also but is long out of business. I have the instructions for it, I'll check and see if there's anything there that could be useful when I get home tonite.

Here's the Speed Details website.

I highly recommend that book. I at one time had the S&S detail set. It really didn't have anything that the current Studio27 sheet does not except the seatbelts, some interior details, and if you have the machined parts, those. The instructions does give some ideas for the engine compartment. I remember the one thing that does stand out over any other set is the electronic module on the firewall. This has not really been addressed by anything other than the S&S set. I wouldn't spend $85 or more to get it though (that was the original asking price since it was on a rubber backing).
