99 gp gt headlight problem

99 gp gt. Drivers side headlight works when it wants 2. I've tried 3 different bulbs with same results. Will work one day, then next day I have to hit the hood and then it will come on. Is the GP known for the wiring to go bad? Or is it a connection problem. I've had the headlight out like 10 times and boggles me.

Sounds like you may have a short somewhere in your headlight wiring. If you have a book that shows how the wiring is routed you may be able to follow it and be able to replace the wiring. If not have someone look at it for you.
