New here--sketches

I have only posted twice here before but have been reading off and on for about two years now.
I am an air-cooled VW person thru and thru and love the shapes of these vehicles--such character!
I have posted VW cartoons on a few VW sites and, of course, have run into the phenom known as Lemorris who is a great inspiration and cheerleader for me.

Anyway---I'm trying to get my ass out of a rut where I haven't drawn for about a year. I've been asked to do up a drawing for a web aquaintance of his fleet so I'm warming up to take it on.

These are probably some of the last sketches I did last year before there was nothin'--I only sketch in dribs and drabs--we have a busy family life.

I think I said this before but I'm also a VW freak! I had a 74' but now it's gone... :(
