Sanding Procedure

I have read the FAQ and many threads and I realize that some procedures contradict itself. I have heard that if I sand the body with 600 grit i wont be able to use tamiya compound on it, is this true? Will It be ok if I wetsand my body with 800 grit and than finish it with 2000grit? thnx!

You're copnfusing sanding the body and sanding the paint. PLease look again through threads and the FAQ more closely, you'll see!
