Bare-Metal Foil Question

I am not a car modeler, I am an art student attempting to do a project involving mirrors. I am looking for a mirror product that I can adhere to paper that will look like part of the paper is mirrored. I need for people to be able to stand in front of the image and see themselves in the mirrored parts.
This has brought me to Bare Metal Foil - chrome. I am wondering if a sheet of this stuff is actually perfectly reflective. If I put it on a flat back, would it appear as a mirror?
Please let me know. Thanks!

I've seen a product sold for a mirror in school lockers. its a flexable plastic mirror which can be cut. sound like what your looking for. you might also try craft stores i know they sell products like that too.

No, it's not going to work.
Try going to an art supply store and getting a sheet of mirrored acetate. It comes on a roll, and should work.

Hobby Lobby - sells specialty paper. They have a paper that is mirrored card stock (not too thick) and should work for your purpose.
The only size I saw it was poster size. I have seen it in several HLs in the art section where they have the horrizontal shelves of paper.

You can buy thin plastic mirror sheeting at http://www.americanacrylics.com/mirror.htm. You can cut it into intricate shapes, drill it, sand it, curve it, bend it, etc., etc.

Another hobby lobby item to look for is the cheap car model display cases. Some of them have a sheet of self adhesive mirror acetate to attach to the base for obvious reasons. I love the stuff and use it for all my car model mirror needs. It is paper thin and very reflective.
