Steering/Suspension Part

I was wondering if someone could identify the part shown in the picture. The picture is from my Chevrolet S10. It is a 2000 base model truck. This part is located on the driver side but it is a mirror of the passenger side. Besides identifying the part, does anyone know a site that I can purchase it? The top of the part looks to be broken off. The truck drives fine, I just noticed a noise when I hit a bump or curb and turning at the same time.
Thanks
