Transmition sealant question

I have an 1995 Grand Caravan 3.3 & 4spd auto that has a pretty good transmition leak that seems to be leaking from just about everywhere (Cant find any 1 major leak) I’ve tried tightening some of the case bolts which helped a little but didn’t stop it. Since the caravan is very particular in regards to using only ATF-3 or 4 I was wondering weather or not I could use some sort of Trans stop leak, and if so what kind/brand. Thanks in advance :grinyes: :grinno:

I would take some degreaser and clean off tranny to see where it is actually leaking versus some stop leak of any kind. Check the hose from tranny to radiator for loose clamps and cracked hoses. Is it leaking around the solenoid pack and do a pan removal and filter change and use a silicone sealant on the tranny pan.
As finicky as these tranny are I would not use a stop leak, I believe the srop leak would cause more trouble than its worth. Just my 2 cents worth.

Well that isnt the answer I was looking for but it was the answer I had expected. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question, looks like there isnt a quick way to fix the problem. And I was so hoping for once:evillol:
