Hello guys, my friend is trying to upload pictures at www.ls1tech.com (http://www.ls1tech.com) and it looks to be the same set up we have here. I clicked on the little mountain thing and it is asking for a HTTP link, but the pictures are on his desktop. Can some one help me with this...

OK Byran -
Here's how this works... Oh, BTW.. you need to do the same for your Sig :)
You, and your friend will join an online photo hosting service.. there's literally 1000's of them now, all free.. I'll list my favorites somewhere in this reply.
After you've joined they will offer you Toolbars for easy use.. which really do make life easier in most cases. You have many options besides UPLOAD.. you'll be able to create folders, albums, slideshows, and lots of other cool stuff to keep organized and help you share photos.
If you look at my homepage (http://www24.brinkster.com/sdhartney/linc/linc.htm) you'll see some http://Photobucket.com slideshows showing off my Town Car. Most of the shots I feature in these forums I host with http://imageshack.us, make sure you join or you lose the organization features.. they allow upload w/o joining too.
Once you get the hang of it, you might get addicted so be careful. This one's interesting http://www.keepandshare.com I've started using that one for hosting PDF's (like this one (http://www.keepandshare.com/doc/view.php?id=494436&da=y)) but they offer lots of other community type stuff too.
Below is a sample of my http://Imageshack.us main page, and a shot of what you see when you look at the hosting properties of an uploaded shot:
You can see where they give you the HTTP code for hotlinking in forums, etc.
You have a choice to share the Full Size shot, or smaller options..
I'll add one as a thumbnail, that goes to full size when clicked too.

Hi Bryan
All my shared pictures come from my website. Sounds like you can do a lot more cool things with one of those setups like Steve has.
