05 Malibu Maxx Rear bulb replacement

Replacement of rear turn signal bulb looks as if it should be easy. - remove two screws, pull back trunk lining and undo wing nut. In my Maxx there is no trunk lining to pull back, where is the wing nut? any suggestions?

there are two screws (i think) in each housing holding it into the vehicle body. take the screws out and you should be able to pull out the housing and then twist and pull out the bulb to replace it. i dont remember any wing nuts when i was checking my bulbs but i will check it out and repost.
