ABS Indicator in '97 Accord

Hi,

If I start my car and say drive it for 5 mins or less and shut it off and start it up again, my ABS indicator comes on and stays on until I shut the car off again for awhile. I checked to see if there was any brake fluid leaking and I didn't see anything. Anyone know what's up??

I have a 93 Honda Accord Ex and the ABS light comes on after a few minutes of running and stays on.I had another problem repaired by a mechanic.While my car was there he looked at the ABS system and said the pump unit was out.The reservoir is full of fluid even though the pump is out.It was around $1500 to fix it.He said dont waste your money. He felt we dont need or can live without an ABS system in sunny Calif.
