Electrical Problem...

Im havin a problem were whenever i put a new fuse in the lighter/lights/radio slot...it keeps blowing within 5 seconds......I have an indash tv.....i tried unhookin that...and puttin new fuse in and it still popped....does this mean i have a short somewhere. I just had problems with the fuel pump....so we tried to start it constantly...and after it came back from the shop this problem arised...should i take it into a shop and have them take care of it....or what am i looking for? let me know what you think it is...

oh my bad....i thought i was in the caprice section......its an 88 chevy caprice....

You are, but different years have different electrical systems. Have you hooked anything up to the circuit lately?

because 3 different fuses are blowing and this occured at same time some work recently done on vehicle must have damaged these circuits. these circuits use / supply different devices... checkout wires near fuse block.... rodents?????

i didnt see any fried wires or anything.....am i gonna have to replace the circuits?

No, you're going to have to troubleshoot the cause however. A short in the taillight circuit will also take out the dash lamp fuse. If you installed anything INSIDE the dash, take out the radio and make sure that no wires became pinched between the radio and the dash frame. This can be your whole problem.
