Ok so after beating a couple Z06's and 3 Ferraris I had to go dyno this beast. I mean you can actually see the chassis twist as its coming off the line.
Ok but seriously this is what a talon 1.8 and 185k miles puts out. Before I get the "why did you spend the money to find out"....It was free. We just got a dyno put in at school. That shit is fun. Anybody ever in sumter want a dyno run let me know. I know how to run the thing its pretty damn easy once you do it a few times. Not so much for the tuning, but actually running the dyno is no problem. Anyway it was on a cell cam but u can still see the numbers....heres the breathtaking results.....

Haha is it bad when you tell somebody you have 70.75hp to the wheels instead of just 70? It sucks its only a 2wd dyno otherwise I would have some GSX results. I'm thinking a viscious coupling might be in order. Anybody have any experience with doing this?

LOL, those are pretty impressive numbers there buddy. What numbers do yout think the GSX gets?

Dude I may be giving you a call in the next couple of months. This is only about 45min from me. Wait till I get the motor in and tune on Megasquirt. I want to max the 14b out and see what kind of number it puts down.
Remember that dynojet dynos read a little high so I hate to break it to you but your not even getting 70whp out of the 1.8. Its ok though Im sure it still has more power than mine does right now.

No shit, really? Whats the margin of error?

I'd like to think somewhere near the 300 awhp mark. But I guess I won't know for sure until i get it dynoed. It could probably use a professional tune to squeeze out a few more hp too.
This is my last semester there, but as long as my teachers there, he would have no problem with me bringing a couple people by that I know.

Damn, don't tell me I'm going to have to drive all the way down there again :iceslolan
Joe, on the dyno, my last run was like 142.0whp or something. On the dynojet, it would have been 160.2. I don't know mathematically what that comes to, but that's a decent "margin of error". One I'm still kinda far from my goal, the other says I broke it.... so I want just the regular.

It would be nice to compare both dynos with actual numbers though. Just to see how much high a dynojet is.

Ummmm, dynojet. Gotta research that now.
