Manual hub question

Hello. I'm sure this question has been asked many times before, but I need to ask it again. I have a 1987 Trooper. The date of manufacture is Jan. 1987. I also have a brand new set of Superwinch locking hubs, #400533. Just exactly when did Isuzu switch from the 24 spline to 17 spline front axles? At the beginning of the 1987 model year? Will these hubs work?
