Scoop onto hood?!?!?!

I'm working with Lancia Delta and I wanted to make a scoop onto hood, but I don't know how, so can you give me some advices?(my model is made from metal)

My opinion - delta is a beautiful piece of machinery and even art, so leave the hood alone.

Other than that - use styrene or a hood scoop from another kit.
