GMC Keyless Remote Issues

I have been reading the latest post on re-sync of keyless remotes and I have been told that my vehicle reciever may be bad. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I have tried the simple re-sync and I also tried the re-program and nothing works. I have even had the dealer re-program at one time and now I am back to the same spot as before, with two non-working remotes. Any suggestions. Thanks

Are the batteries good in the remotes? Seriously, I had the same problem a couple of years ago. A former friend was a Chevy mechanic and he re-sync'd my remotes for me when I bought an extra.......about 6 months later, i broke one, and had to buy yet another one off ebay which had to be programmed too....I pulled the sequence off the net, you know the one, hold the unlock button down, turn the key a thousand times and scratch your a$$...that one. And after I did it 4 or 5 times without any success, I changed the batteries on a whim and did it again......and whallah. Just a thought, cause I didn't think mine were bad.
