NEED HELP BADLY with 93 ford f150

My 1993 f 150 4x4 tansfer case went and i need to replace it but dont have money i was wondering if it is possible to just remove it and run a longer drive shaft from trans to axe im fine with not using 4wd if any one knows if it is possible please tell me and tell me how hard it is do this thank u so much:banghead:

The transfer case would have to be a divorce mount( transfer case not mounted directly to the trans).I dont believe this is the case on the 93. You would have to pull the trans, install a longer tail shaft, and find a tailshaft housing. You may have to swap tranny to a two-wheel drive unit.
