Short Shifter????????

i see al these cheap short shifters on ebay and i was wondering if it really makes a difference which one i get or is it alll the same?

Sopme say they do, but i've heard about short shifters breaking at the pivot point and then your fuked....... so i didd't want to make that mistake and got a quality shifter from Skunk2......
