94 cavalier z24

Hello i just purchased a 94 cavalier z24 3.1..it wont start cold unless you hold the pedal to the floor..(flooding itself?) runs great after its started
got it home and could smell a raw gas smell from the air cleaner. the guy says it need a fuel pressure regulator does anyone know how or where i can find info on installing one myself or if this sounds like the problem
