Hood won't pop.

Hey Everyone!

New here. Actually I just discovered the board while googling my issue with my 95 Regal. The hood won't pop. I've pulled on the lever and although it feels as though the cable is securely attached, the hood doesn't budge. I've gone under the car to try to manually release the latch, but still.. it doesn't move. The latch moves just fine, but the hood doesn't. I really hope this doesn't cost much $$ to fix and I hope it's just a lubircation or cleanliness issue. But I just need to get this hood open to find out!

Welcome to AF!!

I had a Cimarron that did the same thing. Have someone push down on the hood while you pull the cable. This should help the latch to release.
