01 Galant 2.4L SOHC - Timing Marks help

The Timing belt on my 2001 Mitsubushi Galant broke. I am attempting to replace the belt but I cannot locate the timing mark indicated in the chiltons repair manual for the lower crankshaft sproket (the one down by the wheel).

Please help me identify this timing mark. (a diagram would me very helpful)

I have a 91...and you cant get any help on these cars really. From experience with other cars....look for white painted marks or a notch.
