changing engines on 94 sierra

i was wondering how hard , what i would need and if it was worth it to switch my 5.7 litre TBI over to the 5.7 vortec. my engine doesnt seem like it has the power it should and i want a vortec becuase they are alot better. anyone know how much i would cost?
