100mph in a 55 and driving between 12 and 5 AM

I was at my girlfriends house and my curfew is 2 AM but she was doing stuff to make me want to stay *hint hint* and when I got around to leaving i was going to be a little late so i had my foot on the gas hard in my integra (100 mph). i saw cop lights on the side of the road so i way slam on the brakes and once i pass him (hes giving someone else a ticket) i speed back up and his faggot partner comes up on my tail but his headlights look like ones off a piece of shit car so i didnt think it was a cop and my radar detector didnt go off so i just kept on speeding. then he gets right on my tail and he flashes his lights so i pull over. he writes the ticket for 80+ mph in a 55 zone even though i was going over 100. i am also 17 on a restricted license (no driving between 12 and 5 AM). hows my insurance going to be? how much is the ticket going to cost? whats the consequence for driving between 12 and 5 AM?

not much most probably. i assume you got 2 tickets, one for driving fast and one for driving between 12 and 5. You can do traffic school for the speeding part and it will be erased from your record. The 12-5 is gonna stick (IF they even do anything). Not a big deal. don't worry about it. I was on a provisional license when i got my ticket for 90 in a 65. Took traffic school and insurance never saw ticket. don't worry bout it. :smoker2:

Haha, Wow, Sounds like something I do, Like almost every night between 10-3 I drive up and down the 55 or 57 goin over a 100 lookin fo sumone to race, Im usually goin down the 57 between Chapman (Placentia) and Pathfinder (Diamond Bar) drivin up and down there goin over 100. So, If you ever see a white 4 door integra wid a Blitz front, U kno itz meh. haha so ironic i was thinkin bout postin sumthin like this cause i saw sum integra gettin pulled over and i was thinkin, dat could be me, o well i still do it almost every night ^-^

here is an idea, pay the fine and accept whatever consequences come to you. that was STUPID.

did it ever occur to you that if you drove the speed limit and followed traffic laws, the cops would have had NO REASON to pull you over?

i haven't been in his shoes, you know why?

i possess this thing called common sense.

he ought to have his lisence revoked. maybe it will give him plenty of time to contemplate how dangerous and stupid that is.

stupid activity like that is the reason why men between the ages of 16 and 24 have to spend an arm and a leg on insurnace.

it's called making a mistake, I know you have made one of those before and I am sure you did not get hammered by your peers when you shared it with them.

im not saying he didnt make a mistake. he shouldnt go asking what to do, however.

whenever i made a mistake i faced the consequences instead of whining about it and trying to figure out how to get out of it, i paid all my traffic fines. i got in an accident, was found at fault. and endured the 3 years of $175/month insurance premiums.

i pay less than $100/month for the same coverage now--and thats after a recent 10% increase in premiums.

i made mistakes, i didnt whine about it, i endured it, paid for my mistakes and went on with my life. i didnt ask anyone how to get out of it.

at 17 he is old enough to read speed limit signs and know that they exist for a reason.

he is old enough to comprehend traffic laws and follow them.

it is a VERY poor excuse for his actions.

if the state deems someone of 17 years age, old enough to operate a motor vehicle, it means the state expects a reasonable amount of maturity and common sense out of such a person.

here in tx +24mph over the limit is considered wreckless driving which cannot be erased off the record. should be around $300.

yes that was very stupid. late>dead

i dont get it. Shadowboy comes on here and keeps talking shit and i dont get it he doesnt seem to be a "Car Entusiast". So i think noone with no interest in cars shouldnt be here. You seem to have nothing special on your integra you just seem to be someone who goes to work and owns a car and has nothing better to do then sit here and talk big on the net. im only 15 so my opinion doesnt count i just think youre stupid for ahving to come up and say that this thread was stupid. Some things are better left unsaid. Dont even come back with " But he needs to except his consequence!" Some people try to avoid the loss of money but thats just me once again.

Ok i wasnt going to say anything for the sake of being nice but i have to say this.

Shadowboy is mad casue Crazy was gettin some play and hes 17 and he a much more "responsible" and "Mature" guy not getting play and likes to blow money casue he doesnt want to use the loop holes there set by the insurance companies and judicial system (yes they are there)

I've had 3 speeding tickets and no insurance premium raise. Why you ask. Cause i asked people what the loopholes were. There there for a reason use them but different in every state. Im almost positive you can get out of paying more for your insurance.

I agree .. shadows a dumbass, when I ran a red light making a left turn from the right lane in the process I sure as hell asked about it, and yes there were a couple of people bitching me out about how I cant drive .. but I took the traffic school $60 (30 court fees, and 30 traffic school) and went to court and pleaded no contest (got ticket reduced from $281 to $175)

And now its done ... insurance isnt gonna hear about it.

wow that was a interesting convo, im 17 also i live in RI, my first ticket i was on a highway going about 100, got written for 75+, when i went to traffic court i asked as it was my first ticket if i could do community service instead, they let me do that.... still had to pay 25$ court fees.. as for insurance i think there is a way you like pay the DMV to clear your driving record, do that asap and maybe your insurance wont find out?

This will work in any and all states... the best way to have a ticket never see your record and never get to the insurance company is pay a little extra. Say your ticket is $80 for speeding - you accept the blame and mail the state a check for $81 with a copy of your ticket attached. By the time they get your check and notice that you wrote it for over the amount, instead doing all the paperwork required to send you back the $1 they'll put it down as paid and it will never go on your record.

When I was 18, in a span of a few months, I had gotten 8 speeding tickets. After making the mistake of paying for the first 3 my license was suspended for 2 months and I was ordered to pay for traffic school (which is only 2-3hrs tops of your time and is just a nod-and-smile in the class type of thing. yeah it sucked) - Anyway, my friend told me of the above trick and I haven't had a ticket hit my record since. I pay about $105/mon for a 94 GSR and a 95 G20 both full coverage with a $50 deductable - at its peak I paid $175/mon for a 91 civic and a 93 civic both on liablity and a $1000 deductable.

So it is definalty worth it to cheat the system, plus, those god damn insurance companies make enough $$$ as it is off idiots that just pay thier premiums and smile doing it. :D :D :D :D :D :D
