Gearbox changing up to early Merc E220

Hi, I am new to all this and I am hoping that I can get some help with the problem I have with my Mercedes Benz E220. The gearbox changes up through the gears very quikly and there is no kick down. I have checked the oil levels, bowden cable adjustment and the vacum hoses but just cant get it to behave properly :banghead:.

I have seen the thread on this site from TrevorC as he had the same problem. He says that he removed the valve body and found some build-up in the oil channels. He says he stripped and cleaned it all and fitted a K2 spring kit. The info I am after is, does anyone know where this valve body is and what it looks like and if I remove it will it disturb anything else within the gearbox? And also what is a K2 spring kit are where would I get one? If anyone can help please let me know. Many thanks, gaza9876. :grinyes:
