This is my first time doing this. I want to chop the top of the AMt 1949 Ford. I dont want to just sit down and hack away. Thats why Im asking for help!! Anything anyone can say will help me out

on that car you'll have to cut the top into 6, maybe 7 pieces. google "chopping a top" , or "techniques for chopping a top" and see what comes up. Doing this job is really not that different from doing it on a real car, so look at the way the 1:1 guys do it, and follow suit.

I don't recall the FAQ having a "chopping a top" tutorial, but that doesn't mean it hasn't been done on here before.

Check Jimmy Flintstone first. Perhaps you will find a resin chopped body for a moderate price.
