car seat control

Does anyone know what this switch is for. I played with it a little bit but didnt notice anything changing. Its on a 2002 avalon xls on both front seats. It looks like it might be a seat heater switch but is not shown in the manual.

That is an aftermarket seat heater switch. The top setting is HI and the bottom setting is LOW. My factory heater does not heat up instantly, it takes 5 min or so may be why you didn't notice a change.... Previous owner may have had a bad factory switch or if there is a remote starter, then it was installed so when the remote starter is used, the seat heater comes on if the switch is left on.
