Factory Alarm

Can Someone please help,

I have a 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited, I lost one keyless remote and the other one is broken, and now my car is stuck and I cant take off the alarm and the car wont turn on, its also killing my battery. I was told to disconnect the VTSS but I have no idea were to find that. I have searched online but there are different answers and I don't want to disconnect the wrong wire. I was told behind the glove compartment, kick panel, up on the panel overhead and someone said under the driver seat. PLEASE is haven't driven my car in 3 weeks I NEED HELP !!:banghead:

Just use the key in the door, You don't need the remote.

Yeah thats the only way to get into the car without the alarm going off, but still not working, I need help to disconnect the alarm for good.

You can disconnect the factory vtss,but you have to have the jeep running.The module is behind the dash to the right of the radio.You have to take the right side of the dash apart.There is a module about the size of a pack of cigarettesit might be black or a reddish color.If the jeep is running,unplug it and let it run for about 2 minutes.Then the pcm should "forget"about the alarm and it should be good to go.You can leave it unplugged.If the jeep doesn't start,you obviously can't do this.

lock the dorrs with the power lock button on the drivers door, then wait about 30 seconds and unlock the drivers door with the key. If this doesn't work lock the doors again and wait then unlock the passenger door with the key. and then the liftgate if that doesn't work.

The drivers switch often gets broke/wore out so you have to unlock the passenger door.

thanks for your help everyone, Im going to try that, hope something works, if not Im just taking it to get a new alarm put in and Im sure they will be able to take out the factory one.
