Painting front headlights in Tamiya Subaru WRC kit?

Hi Guys,

I'm finally finishing my tribute build and I was wondering how you guys paint the front headlights silver in the Tamiya Subaru Impreza WRC kit? I want to get a nice clean line, since the headlights are clear. On the rear lights, I covered the area with Bare Metal Foil. Thanks for your advice.

If you want a really chrome looking finish use aclad chrome. Use a gloss black enamel first for your base coat, and then chrome. Or you can use tamiyas silver leaf, comes out pretty nice too. Either way, what i would do is use a black paint marker for the headlight surrondings and maybe a touch of clear orange on the turn signal light bulb. Try searching some of the builds, and if you find what finish your looking for pm the person.
