hey guys, i'm looking at purchasing a set of JBA headers for my 2003 gmc sonoma (4wd, standard, non-zr2) and i was curious if there was any companys out there that made a replacement mid-pipe for my truck. i've already installed a flowmaster aftercat exhaust, but looking at finishing off the rest of the system. if there isn't any replacement mid-pipes available.. what have you guys done? (custom?)

thanks for your help, Mike.

When you say mid-pipe are you talking about the y-pipe? If you are then SLP did make one in the past but they are impossible to find. Currently Columbia River Mandrel Bending is making new y-pipes, but right now, only the ones for 2wd automatics are availible. Link: http://store.racing-solutions.org/s10blazer.html. Only option until their 4x4 version comes out is to have one custom made, which i was just quoted $400 to have one made for my ZR2. Little more than my wallet can handle right now  . You can modify the stock y-pipe somewhat. Cut off the pre-cat and you will see that the juction on the y-pipe is horrible, one side overlaps the other. You can port this juction with a dremel to improve the flow, then weld the pre-cat back on. Then install a high flow cat if you havent already.
