Lowering the front seat - brackets?

Hello, I have a quick question on how I can lower my front seat in my 2003 Cavalier. I have noticed the despite the 2003 being the z-type the seat it about 2 inches higher from pavement then it is in my 95 non z cavalier. This creates a very crappy driving position for me, since I am 6'4. I have replaced the front end seat in the 2003 car with a seat from a 95 cavalier I got at the junk yard because the way I was reclining my seat in the 2003 eventually broke it. So I was wondering is there somewhere seat mounting brackets that I can buy to lower the seat in my car. As it stands it is way to high. If there arent any brackets for sale what would you suggest to be my best option to do? I suppose racing seats are an option but I would much rather like to pay <100 for some brackets and just get it fixed.

Thanks for the help.

Please correct me if im wrong, but I dont believe anyone sells lower brackets anywhere. So your next best answer would be to chop and weld. I hope you own a welder and know how to use it, because if you really want a lower seat, thats probably what will have to be done.

custom fab your own, the after market ones are designed to fit racing seats. Corbeau and Tenzo-R are the only ones who i know that make a specific set for their seats and our cars.
