95 SHO "Check Engile Light"

My SHO has a problem and I dont know if I should ignore it. The Check Engine Light comes on when I am taking off from a full stop until I reach about 35MPH then it goes off. It doesnt stop the car or ridles rough or anything like that. As a matter of fact, the car runs like new but I dont want to see this light on. I was told to check or maybe replace the Mass Flow Sensor. Any ideas?

You need to take it somewhere and get the CEL codes. I know Autozone and Advance parts places will pull the codes for free. Go to the dealer and he will charge $85 for the same thing. We need the codes to help you.

Your 1995 Taurus is OBD, and therefore you can read the codes with a multimeter or simple jumper wire. To see how the do this, visit this site (http://autorepair.about.com/cs/troubleshooting/l/bl_dtcs_70a.htm). The method to read the codes can be found at the bottom of the page. Carefully follow the steps and post back wtih the codes.
